After long contemplation & due to popular demand, I have finally decided creating a blog may not be such a bad idea after all. Now it may have been years (and I mean years) since I have truly tapped into the creative side of my brain, however I am up for a new challenge. What better time than now?

We are in Berlin. First impressions? Friendly, huge, impressive & yet easy. Allow me to elaborate; this transition was surprisingly easy. We arrived, we cooked dinner, walked around, got familiar, and thought nothing of it. This must mean we are European after all - who would have thought?

Contrary to what my few deserted snap shots depict (which I oh so patiently waited for), Berlin is full of life everywhere you look. All kinds of wanderers roam the streets, from all over the world. Naturally, this has made it an easy place for us to fit in. Life in Berlin thus far is about the little things; such as sitting in the lustgarten by the Dom enjoying a cold Beer.
Seriously though, at €0.80 / 0.5l bottle of beer ... it is cheaper than water. One has to make a conscious effort not to drink it when thirsty.

Only a week in & excited for what is to come. Now I just hope I can keep this blog up and hopefully get better at it with each post so you guys can share a little piece of our big adventure with us.
